The island of Pag is one of the most developed Croatian islands with a rich cultural heritage. It is best known for its tradition of making lace and costumes, and thus Pag lace is also on the UNESCO List of Protected Intangible Assets. Gastronomic specialties are another feature of this island – Pag cheese and salt, as well as Pag lamb meat, so often guests come just to taste some of the mentioned specialties.
