The hotel was built in 1970 on a natural peninsula, in a pinewood after which it acquired its name. It soon became quite known among domestic and foreign guests due to its quality offer of hotel facilities and beaches. In the summer months, the locals consider it the best place in the region for bathing.
The ownership of Intermod d.o.o. contributes to the constant modernization of the hotel with the aim of advancing its offer and service, while the long family tradition of the owner guarantees a cordial and personal approach to every guest.
The hotel was completely refurbished in 2001 when sports and recreation facilities were added as well as an indoor pool with fitness facilities.
In 2008 the hotel was upgraded into a 4* hotel with a new outdoor pool.
A new Wellness & Spa Center was built in 2015.
In 2019, the hotel restaurant with a terrace was renewed and a sun deck was built next to the pool.
