Plitvice Lakes National Park

The Plitvice Lakes National Park is the largest and oldest Croatian national park, which was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979. The natural beauty of the park consists of forest vegetation, grasslands, and 16 cascading lakes that are divided into Lower and Upper lakes, whose system ends with the imposing Sastavci waterfalls, under which the Korana River begins.

The experience of a walk in the park is completed by a ride on an electric boat and a train. The lake will enchant every visitor with its blue-green color, and every new visit will be an unrepeatable experience of nature, beauty, and strength!

Recommendations:

  • Wear sturdy non-slip shoes
  • Bring protection against rain and sun
  • Respect the rules of the National Park to preserve it

Take care of the natural environment you visit, because if we don’t take care of it today, our children will have nothing to visit tomorrow.
